Halflinger 700AP with title

I have a 700AP, with clear title in my name, that i bought as part of an estate purchase. It has been a barn for the better part of a decade. Surprisingly it actually started right up with a new battery. It isn't carbureting well (working on that currently,probably need to clean the carb). The brakes are zero, except the parking brake ( thinking about getting a vw master and getting them going again if it doesnt' sell at this price point). Obviously it has a homemade hard top/doors/ and i don't believe the windshield frame is original either. It does come with 3 sets of tires and wheels. I have 2 big service manuals with it,one in german (i think), one in english, as well as some paperwork & manuals when it was bought new at a n.c. subaru dealership. It does have some rust in the compartments near the front of the bed, previous owner fastened metal to the bottom of the floors in those areas. You can also msee the evidence of some surface rust under the paint in the bed and a little in the cab floor. Headlights and wipers work. It produces a little smoke upon start up in the driver cylinder, could need valve seats, or the rings could be a little stuck from sitting.I would say add the master, give it a tuneup, spend a couple grand on the top/windshield replacement and have a nice halfie for $12k that can be driven on the streets..
