710K rear seat belt question.

I have installed my seat belts as best I can figure out. But what in the world are the straps with the large gate clips for?

I cannot help here. I have not seen them before. Maybe after market and if not, perhaps they were used to control the generator sled in the back. Just guessing here. I do not recall seeing them in the parts book.
