To be on the safe side, remove the door tops and lay them on a towel to replace the glass..... gravity is less likely to make for a bad day.

FORKLIFT- The other windshield removing tool!
Note- No Pinzes were hurt during the filming ..... but maybe I should have had the driver get out beforehand.

Watch out for those forks!!
Patrick at Cold War had a yard man put a set of forks through the side of a Pinz, in short squewerd! Not pretty and a bit expensive to fix.
In that incidence no-one got hurt, just some pride and pocket money!

David, Do you know or someone else on the forum know where I can get that little trim piece that goes on the edge of one of the side windows of the Pinzgauer, I received one from SAV but the other side is backordered. ANy suggestions, I am going to try some Auto trim places but I'm not sure if there is already a repalcement for this peice that is readily available...Kirk

I'm not sure I understand what trim piece you're refering to. The felt tracks? Do you have the part number?

SAV only had one peice and the other peice is backordered it is called a seal strip ,part# 7111761681 and is the vertical peice that goes on the edge of one of the sliding windows that acts as a seal between the two windows
