BTW, what are the outlets for or is that where you bring in outside power?

The Alternator is Stock and I am only using the 2 Optima batteries. I have not changed anything mechanically (I am am more electrically inclined (I am an X Electronics Engineer) then mechanically inclined). I did add a K&N Air Filter, the REGULATOR HOT AIR W/ THERMOSTAT from SAV,

and a magnetic fuel automizer
I noticed immediate power with the K&N Filter. I installed the fuel automizer and the Hot Air Regulator at the same time and now the truck really takes off , so I don't know if it is the fuel automizer or the regulator or maybe both. Oh, I also added a battery nano pulser

The AC & DC outlets are for outside power.
By the way I am also using a 24 volt 30 amp heater and it hasn't caught fire yet, nor do I expect it to! I actually had all the lights on and the heater (with the engine running) without any problems. I tapped into the power that was feeding the gas heater. I was waiting to smell smoke and I was feeling all the power wires to see if they were getting hot, but nothing (I was actually disappointed and happy at the same time). I like to use 10-12 gauge wires for everything. I buy all my electrical stuff from

I am really interested in these. Has anyone just installed this over the stock older set-up and did it make a notable difference?

Hello all,
I have just bought a 24v to 12v converter to install in my 710M and have never done it before. I have three wires, red (power), black (ground) and white ("connect to the LOAD(s)"). Can someone draw me a little schematic showing how this will be done as I am electronically challenged;-) I want to add a fuse block for the accessories also but have more want than knowledge. Thanks,
Phil

That K&N filter will shorten the life of your top end

It allows larger particles to pass through, not good for sand or dusty trails.

I had one of those on my 3rd to last 6x6. I noticed no difference in how it ran v. the older setup. It didn't warm up any faster or anything that I could tell.

Wasn't there a post about a dyno test that proved a k&n actually robbed some power from engine? Thanks for the top end info, Jim. Brian

Jim's right, Dodge used to void your powertrain warrantee if a K&N was present and you had a motor prob. Due to the excessive dirt ingested.
