Shawn, I suspect the a/c will be on the top of your list when you get back from Big Bend. It got a little warm in the afternoon yesterday towards the end of the pre-run in the 710M. But, we got a late start and by the time we finished it was close to 3:00 PM.
The day started of really nice, cool air, a breeze, the works. In the afternoon the breeze had shifted to southwest and was not a breeze but hot air.
We have no problem getting short rifles out the windows, quickly, when the door tops are off. I've never tried a shotgun out the window except a very short 410, one handed, one time only. It wasn't one of my better ideas.
