I have used lamp #1819 for some spots that use the small 24 volt bayonet lamps and I like them since the are just a little bit longer, which makes them easier to put in an take out. Tip: a piece of rubber/plastic tubing that just can be pressed over the bulb will let you turn it to release it and pull it out easily

Now for the dash, I have converted to Superbright Leds, since they have a MUCH longer life than the incandescent bulbs and are a softer light rather than such a "point" light.

The removal and replacement of the warning panel lamps is a Pain,
so I don't want to take it out very often. I can buy them in the colors that I want in each indicator section, white, red, green, amber, blue and even in U.V.

I've lost the light for the blinker, even though I can hear the relay and see the blinkers working at night. I also lost the emergency break light. I suspect both burned out when my brake light switch was going out. Once or twice the breaker popped and I just reset it and things were fine. The last time I smelled the smoke genie but couldn't locate where it was coming from. I reset the breaker two or three times and finally saw the flash from behind the brake cylinder. That's probably not a very highly recommended way to troubleshoot electric problems and I doubt I'll use it too often.

The superbirght leds are worth knowing about also.
