Alright enough with that stuff. This is the first forum I have ever been on and am new to all the abrv. that everyone uses. But I do know what fubar is. Everyone I deal with just says the phrase.

Easy with the hammer, otherwise you'll spring the hinge at the body and get the door out of allignment or worst - bend the hinge.

Having learned SNAFU and FUBAR in the military, I was a little confused when I saw FUBU beginning to appear on clothing. I had assumed it meant "F***** Up Beyond Understanding," but I later found out that it meant "For Us By Us," apparently in reference to a minority-owned clothing line. I still like my version better!

Everytime I hear that FUBAR in the movies or whatever, I wonder how marketing team at Stanley, ever convinced the powers that be to call a product that!
