Both pinzgauer and haflinger are on this site and being on the map just makes sense to me. Mogs do have their own site and map already. ...but...Where are the Volvos? Did I miss something?
I really like this idea, I think it is grand. I have learned so much on this site and just seeing where some folks are located, the ones that I don't hear from, is very satisfying.
Happy trails,
Morris

I hate to be the negative vote here ( but who'd expect less

).
There are still people that get the web on dialup, and this "novelity" has to load each time , and shows nothing more than general info.
And from the original request, I was under the impression that people were looking for something to be able to find local owners and help while on a trip. That, to me, would be a database that could have more specific addresses and contact info to find that " helpful" hand, and could be downloaded and printed out for a trip. Not everyone has a mobile web service.

Good point Dave.
Originally, I was thinking of a link and then a sticky was mentioned. It all works for me but then I have never had dial up and don't know anything about it.
Thanks for mentioning it.

Dinosaurs need to protect other dinosaurs.... I'm just getting into the 21st century... kicking, screaming and stomping ( and when I stomp on something, IT is felt !)
It is showing up on the bottom of every page... even while posting a reply! It is distracting and is ticking me off ( and I know some will get enjoyment out of that )
Erik, I might be using old phones, but I can spell!

It equates to the same as driving a Pinz on a Los Angeles freeway
(other than the Pink Cow)

I'm with Dave.
There are still many people out there that don't live in an area that can get High Speed Internet. Small towns, no cable system, no dsn capability, not even pricey ISDN. Only Dial-up is available.
A well designed web page should not be loaded with lots of graphics since it takes so long for low speed Dial-Up (56K max).
These forums are well designed and load fairly quickly which makes it a LOT more enjoyable.
Oh! I forgot you can get expensive satellite service for a faster system.

I don't have High Speed Internet BUT I do have a fast 712!
