ARB cooler

Post by krick3tt »

I have managed to reach Seth in the service department at ARB in WA. Since I am no longer in Suquamish I can't just run it down there to the office of ARB as he has suggested.
Based on our email conversations he believes it to be either a power supply issue or a cord problem. I have checked the cord and I don't think that is my problem.
I asked him if the R/R of the power supply is something I can do, as the warranty is no longer in place.
So, it is still on the table as a non working fridge for camping. I'll let you know what happens.
I just got back in town from a visit so if I did not respond in a timely manner, that is the reason.
Thanks to all for your contributions of knowledge and ideas.

ARB cooler

Post by krick3tt »

I just think those guys at ARB are the greatest.

I shipped them the power supply and they returned one for me to use. It did not work properly so Nils got me a NEW cooler to replace the old one.

WOW, this is great.

The holder that I had made for the old style no longer fits so I have put the holder up for sale in the classified section.

The guarantee works, new cooler is here. Wahoooooo.

For the price they get for these things they better have full customer service. I have a Norcold and have had no problems with it so far hope their customer service is as good as ARB.
