Paul
As we have chatted over the phone, I wish to reiterate "Bloody Good Show"!
That was a hard up hill task and a "bother" created by a few people behind closed doors that clearly got out of hand and took lot of heavy weights to correct it.
To lesser extent anyone of us can experience a unwarrantied adverse "public" reaction to Pinzgauers and I have had someone really in my face in Home Depot aggressively telling me what an ugly, unsafe, polluting piece of junk it was.
Over the past few years I have had an on going irritation with our local county officials which came to a head several months ago! The underlying gripe --yes Pinzgauers.
Quote" these vehicles are ugly, offensive, unsafe, and in many cases in such a state of dis-repair that they are an eyesore in the neighbourhood.
To reduce the visually offensive nature of this vehicle I now have to store these trucks in a nearby fenced yard away from sight.
This was a compromise situation which I hammered out by negotiation with planning and zoning.
To get to this position I ended up getting some advise from a local attorney that was well connected to the offiicals within the county including the commissioner with whome I spoke at a later date.
Now in law it would seem that county and Ste offiicals have a fairly robust defense in cases of this, and indeed have an immunity to such claims of prejudice, discrimination and such like--HOWEVER , they do not have immunity to the infringements of your CIVIL RIGHTS, as prescribed in the Constitution.
So in short a little word was planted in the correct place that indicated that I was considering a law suit against Jefferson Cyt for the infringement of my civil rights and constitutional law. A truce was agreed upon--one might say!
So to conclude well done Paul and thanks for posting the Tom Petty video, I would have flown the Gadsen flag outside the court house!

Gents as an Englishman, the United States has something quite unique which is this Constitution; borne out of conflict with the mother country and the Use of English law against England and it's own laws.
Long may it be so!
Have a good weekend.
