Robin,

That's a pleasant looking bit of underpinnings there. I want a ride!!

These Pinzgauers are great, for slower speeds. But then there's those days when you want the scenery to go by faster.

One of my "other" cars is a '73 Pantera (Sierra brakes, Koni coilovers, lowered, 351 C, est. 400 hp.), for those faster moving days.

Too bad you're across the pond, or we could go blow the carbon out of them together.

Do I correctly assume you assembled it?

Shawn, beautiful busses. My first car was a 67 13 window and my second was a CJ7. The pinz is like a mash of those two, especially the driving positions of the bus and pinz- at 6'5" theres still plenty of headroom, but zero visibility when the cab top is in place.

Thanks, I have been in into early VW's and Porsche's for most of my life. I got the itch for a Pinz once I started taking some of my sons boy scout troop into the woods for back packing trips. Some of the older scouts in the neighborhood had remembered my old 64 land rover I had about 4-5 years ago and asked me to take them to the mountains in it. That was all it took for me to pick up the 710K

Ooh, that's bad. It doesn't get any better! My son's 14, and the Pantera got out just 4 times this summer. It's just not right.

I did a frame-off rebuild a CJ Jeep a few years back, and I found it was really fun work. It's kind of like being a kid again, and building a model car, except you get to drive it when it's done. Did your car require a lot of fab work? Or was it pretty much just plug and play?

Nice semaphore oval with the Judson! I have a 57 Oval window that goes along with the 710m. The rest of the toys are bikes.

The ovals pretty new, I gathered the Judson parts over a few years and then once I had everything I found a solid oval project to put it in. When it is nice out I daily drive that one
The 23 window on the other hand was my daily driver before I began the metal work on her. I logged 135,000 miles on it driving to and from my old office 35 miles away. Now that she is done it is more of a sunny day at the beach ride, or take the wife and friends out on the town bus.
The truck is just a truck and kinda an extra right now that the Pinz has come home. I put a 911 motor in it and a 5 speed. I have a standing offer from a guy in Perth that wants it. Maybe time to let her go.

Woaw spandit, your Cobra really made me drool on my keyboard!

My only other vehicle is a truck that complements the Pinz well:
