If it is part #32, SAV has it...just takes 7-10 days before you get it.

That's a diagram of exec 2. #32 is the 10m x 80.

I've contemplated the exec 2 but I really haven't been sold on its advantage vs exec 1. I will be calling Scott today and will ask him what the kit costs. I don't think it's cheap!

Ordered the bolts from McMaster Carr....appears they have no issues shipping to Canada. We'll see what it costs me, didn't ask for shipping costs.......

Good to know! Maybe it was the grease they couldn't ship.

I did hear back from Sarah at SAV and they actually have the OEM bolt in stock. #22 on the exec #1 diagram. $3.99.

I actually cancelled the order at McMaster Carr and got the SAV bolt. It gives me that warm original equipment feel...plus I forgot I need tail light bulbs anyways........ :D

Stiffler,

FWIW, I think you did the wisest thing there. I bet that McMaster Carr bolt would have fit and worked okay, but maybe not. (Many non-original replacements aren't quite right.) However the SAV one surely will. Not only do you have that assurance, but you're also supporting a Pinz-community sponsor, if not a forum sponsor. Without companies like SAV and EI around, we'd all be up the creek.

On another note: Isn't that differential a nifty piece of engineering?!?! It's almost worth opening up just to appreciate the complexity therein.

Best of luck with a speedy return to service.

Yes, I totally agree. I prefer to support our forum and community sponsors. I'd also rather have OEM engineering as opposed to a bolt that may (or probably) originates somewhere in the east......

And wow is all I can say about the diff internals. My brother in law has owned his own garage for decades and has never seen anything quite like it. If I had an extra set of gears and a box laying around, I'd leave it open and on dispaly so people can come over and give it a few spins!

With any luck, next weekend will be reassembly time. Could be rolling by Sunday Afternoon!
