Dremel. I used the little cut-off wheel thing, then filed it with a metal file to get the fit right.

I liked your little voltmeters. Made a little box that
will mount behind the seats. Toggle switches just
turn the power on and off so they won't sit and draw
from the battery. (I sometimes leave it sitting for a
week or so)

They say imitation is the finest form of flattery.
So I bought some piece from MPJA and made a little boxed voltmeter :
The switch is three way. Middle is off, down is on, and up is momentarily on.
The other ends of the wires are alligator clips so I can normally leave it testing both batteries, but if something is wrong I can check each battery independently.
And for mounting I epoxied 4 x rare earth magnets inside the top of the box so you can put it anywhere you need :
The back of the box is a molex 2 pin connector, so if I decide to make the wires longer and mount it in the cab I can.
Not a bad little project for about $10, thanks to you guys for putting me onto MPJA.
