Looked at the classifieds and noticed all their vehicles are 12V...what's up with that? I would not change from the 24V just to be able to put in off the shelf items.
I was also looking for the gold plating to justify the prices...must be in the engine, doesn't show in the photos.

The ads say12v systems installed, not converted to 12v. Probably a 24 to 12v converter installed and 12v taps.

I was just assuming they ment they have installed 24v to 12v converters. edit looks like David beat me.
What I was wondering, what the heck is a "Power amplifier" Will it make them faster?
Judging from the prices I think I'd bettter contact my Insurance agent and up my loss coverage.

Ok, we're at least 8 to 10 years after the last big batches of ex-Swiss army Pinzes were decommissioned and sold at the Thun army auctions. GauerGarage posts 4 classifieds of trucks that have visibly had previous civilian owners, as all have been somehow modified (some of them being traceable to former owners) after they finished their military life.
Mileage announced for all 4 trucks is below 13'000km (about 8'000 miles) and 2 trucks even have mileage in the 4 digits (in km). Color me skeptical... Although I would very much like the figures in the classifieds to be the actual mileage these trucks were driven since exiting the Graz factory, and it possibly is, I believe the mention "displayed mileage" would be more correct.

I think what a lot of people fail to realize is that these are
Gauers - they are very different, better and much rarer than your everyday common Pinz!
EDIT: removed some of my joke comments after I reread them - did not want them taken the wrong way

So, is the forum going to be getting a percentage of the sale price as Gauer's is using it as a store front.

I am not sure on Vince's rules - we don't see EI or SAV posting in the classifieds but only Vince can answer that

From the Classifieds sub-heading "Dealers posting vehicle ads must donate something to the cause."

On the plus side, these are the best photos of Pinzgauers I've seen.
