Having spent many years a structural mechanic for Boeing and Lockheed the photo of the studs spooks the s**t out of me.
:idea: Could at least use tapered washers under the head.

I agree that made me very very nervious I would be walking away from these engineering experts rapidly faster than hussain bolt can run.

I've been in touch with a nice chap in the UK who has a very nice solution using Landrover discs and calipers, and then landrover wheels.
That makes is all a bit more affordable for spares & wheels etc.
I'll post some more info soon.

Another disk brake conversion kit available - supposedly retains the use of the original wheels also. Not sure if the kit is complete or not. Also has other axle parts.

Pricing seems fair (although not clear on what it includes) at about 1300 Euros for two axles (I think...)

A good find Haf-e, thanks it could be useful for other parts.
I read that as 1300 per axle, if thats the case its a little expensive.

Can use brembo and mercedes 5x112 wheels, or original wheels with smaller calipers.
