Good reference, these guys also have 2.7L cylinder/head options.
No mention of hardening the exhaust seats though :?:

Thanks for the links. Two good products there for what could be a common problem.
I lay awake last night trying to design a step, similar to a side stand on a motorbike.

Here's what I meant by cable steps. These are huge, and some for the Pinz may have different length cables to mount on a slant, but you get the idea. They could be dirt-ass cheap and wouldn't get bent (unless they got hooked).

Thanks for finding the cable type undysworld. That's more of a replacement for the original front step and position of same. I was hoping to have one over the wheel and folding or removable. For some reason, I thought the cable you mentioned would be attached to the step and activated ( moved step into/out of position) either by hand or by action of door opening and closing, via a cable link.
