New wheels (and rubber too) in place. These are the 2015 Ford Transit Custom rims 16". 60mm offset which must be a bit more than the original as they sit out about another 1/2 each compared to the old ones. Take a standard off the shelf wheel nut with a 60deg taper.

Also the 15" transit rim is identical and also goes straight on if anyone wanted to fit 15" tyres.

So the question has finally been answered!!
They fit!
They look good and I guess the benefit of these is that they have the safety bead and can be run at a lower PSI
Any other benefits?
Cheers and thanks for posting - they look good!
Dan

It is good news for us in the desert. We normally run 4x4s at 15 psi (1 bar). I would like to get some of these rims to see how they hold.

These look nice! Where to find 5 of them in Arizona? There must be some place in the Phoenix area...

Maybe a group buy to save on cost...especially shipping. I could see the need for four.

Ian, have you noticed any change in steering behavior with the different offset? Is bump steer is increased over the stock wheels?

Very nice! The original look is perfect. Silver powder coating could work too.

They look really good!
Much better than having to modify for wheel nuts as I did.

I like the tyres too... I enquired recently about the same tyre in that size and was told it was discontinued in 255/85/16, I better ask elsewhere.

They discontinued that product number but a new SKU comes out and they are available.
Check again for sure!

Only one caution here - the Ford Transit "custom" is not the same as the new USA Ford Transit unfortunately - but I think it is very close - especially the wheels. Also, the USA rims have different shaped holes in them - I prefer the round holes used on the European/Australian Transit Custom as they look very much like the factory wheels on the diesel Pinzgauers - The holes in the USA rims are more oblong and there are only 10 of them.

So - still hoping we can have a verification of the USA Ford Transit rims - although I would expect that they work as well.

Ian,

I meant to ask in my previous post, what is the width of the 2015 transit rims?

Correct on the description. I am going to (try and remember) and bring home the spare off of my 2015 transit cargo and fit it this weekend. I will post up results. I'm not very photo techy, but my BBZ30 photos are too large to post up. Any suggestions on resizing?

thanks in advance,
Dave
