I'm fairly certain they are propane carbs, Which brings up the question: How do you shut of petrol when switching to CNG/Propane?

On top of the carbs are 2 propane "mixers" the carbs stay stay standard and propane is fed in at the top. 2 solenoid valves cut off the propane or petrol depending on switch position. This means it is dual fuel and can run on either.

How does it run on propane? Have you noticed a difference?

It runs a lot smoother on propane (none of the dreaded flat spots or hesitation ) and only a very small drop in power, not really noticed in everyday driving, and in the UK it's half the price of petrol.
