That's the one, if you will look at the little pin just east of the Big Bend in Texas as the Rio Grande turns southeast you will see my data.

Some forums are touchy about mentioning other forums by name, that's why I just referred to it the way I did.

I hope I did not cross a line but I am a member of that site as well.
There are sections for Pinzgauers, Mogs and Hafs. Also lots of US iron. Pinzgauers really don't have the history of war use like a Duce or a M37.

What I know of the people there is that they are very proactive for the preservation of OD vehicles no matter where they are from or what they look like.
Lots can be learned from the free exchange of information about our particular brand of insanity.
I often get looks, in my home, that seem to say...'Is there anything else you want to talk about besides that truck?' She really knows me.

Morris, Real is pretty laid back so I dunno if you crossed any lines.
The support group idea does seem like it could be helpful even though in my mind we appear to be in pockets.

SS is an interesting site, but the Pinzgauer activity is very slow.

Now to get back on topic. After very little thought , I think my longest Pinz trip wasn't the one from Colorado bringing the 712 back. It was more recent. It was that 14 or 15 mile trip back home after the lug stud broke and the nut fell on the ground.
