Good luck with the sale.

As a 7.3 nut myself, I say good luck on that 7.3 search as well. Id expect around 24,000 for something in great shape. Take a look at "hand picked western trucks" for some idea of pricing.

Also, you will not get better than 15 mpg no matter what anyone says.

Have you done any recent maintenance? (Like seals, major components, etc?)

Bumber,

Thanks for your interest.

Within the last month, I've done a tune up on the engine (Air filter, fuel filter, distributor cap, rotor, set timing 8 BTDC). I also changed the engine oil and filter(Rotella T 15-40).

I had a leak from the rear transmission seals and replaced both of them, they were dried out and cracked. I replaced the transmission oil with 80 wt Swepco 201 which has drastically reduced the drivetrain noise on the inside, amazing difference! No problems with the transfer case or other drivetrain components. I intend to replace the transfer case oil with the Swepco 201 as well this week.

I have found on four other Pinzs that the fuel pump base gaskets dry out and weep over time resulting in a drip or two of oil after driving as does this one. I just got the two gaskets in to repair this and will do this as well. I also have a cracked right rear axle boot, got this in as well and will repolace it also.

The truck needs nothing with the exception of a new owner so I can get my 712K :)

The only rust on the truck is a small spot starting on the right rear door which can be taken care of easily. It's in the middle lower portion of the door.

I replaced a voltage regulator roughly two years ago and that's it. It's been very reliable and dependable as it has been driven almost daily for the last two years. Other than routine maintenance, most of the work has been on creature comfort/ functionalality upgrades.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Mike

I am surprised as well that this is still around. If the Canadian Dollar wasn't in the toilet, I'd pick this up just to satisfy my lack of self control.......
