I was going to comment that he did not know what motor was in it when he said 4 cyl but looking at pictures - it looks like someone has added a larger motor (probably a 4 cyl)

If I'm not mistaken, that's Poly cab Haffy has ties back to the NY World Fair in '64. It was converted to a VW engine sometime after that. It showed up on the west coast around 2003 ( at a SoCal Pinz shop whom name you don't say 3 times... like Beetlejuice

It doesn't look to have changed much since then... other than new layers of dirt.
