Socket labels -Steellabels

I found this cool label set made for sockets, which I can never see the size of. Time will tell if they hold up but since they look this nice and are dirt cheap, I might just replace them when needed.
I cleaned each socket with carb cleaner. Rubbing alcohol would work too. I used tweezers to pull them off and to lay them on.
Cheap, under $10 trick!

Sorry for the crappy old phone pics:

Nice idea, but I would miss the 20-30 minutes spent trying to read my sockets.....it's almost like a rite of passage for each job..

Great idea, at least if they hold up to use.
I took a different approach, at least to my black impact sockets. I cleaned them and then applied paint to the size markings. I wiped all the paint off, leaving it only in the size indentations. I used white for SAE and red for metric. It's easier to see that way, but still so damned small I can barely make it out.
Nice find, Vince. Thanks.

Only issue could be if you get gas or similar on them and the adhesive lifts.
Otherwise that makes a quick job of finding the right one.
I always try to guess the nut size and then the socket - getting pretty good except when really needed like when I am under the truck with only one hand - then I always seem to guess and pick the wrong sizes!
