No, I'm not getting into the importing game again but an old contact wants me to help sell a fairly rare G-wagen, never in private hands.
This is a 461 chassis, recent ex-military 250GD 5cyl. diesel, two-door, short wheel base, soft-top, with lockers, with around 64,000 miles!
This OM602 engine is rarely seen in this version in the US, and is one of the most reliable diesels ever made. They were first used in the early Sprinter vans but had a different injection set-up as far as I recall. It was the successor to the famous 617 that we know in the cars but less tractor-like. It was also in the '90's E250 Mercedes cars.
Price will be in the $14,500 range, which I think is very fair. (landed in the US). Private msg. me if truly interested.
(not for Ca. registration!)
