I went to WalMart yesterday to get oil for the Pinzgauer and found out that they only sell synthetic oil now in 10w-30 and most other viscosities. I ended up going to AutoZone and paying $31 for a 5-quart jug of 10w-30.
I also wanted a Mobil1 oil filter and cannot find the correct part number that will work on the Pinz, even after trying to cross reference the Wix 51768 filter online. I ended up with an STP S5618 filter that worked fine.
I would have gone to NAPA but am tired of wanting to buy basic parts, only to be told that we can have it later today or tomorrow.

Re: No more regular oil at WalMart
That's odd. I'm used to seeing tons of the typical Castrol and QT there. I recently paid that same amount or slightly less for a jug of Mobile1 synth. that her car gets.
