How hot is too hot

With heat coming to Southern California, I’m curious. Ignoring comfort, how hot is too hot to drive the pinz?

FWIW, I've been driving my 710K during southern Arizona summers for the last 14 years. Temps often reach above 110-115F here. Never had any issues.
Just make sure your fan is good, all cooling tins are in place and the cylinder and head fins aren't all clogged up with dirt/mud (of course that would apply anytime regardless of weather)
As for 'comfort', I usually remove most if not all door tops in the summer too.

One issue you could experience is vapor lock.
For the most part, not while running but after you turn off your engine.
Then your intake pants could get heat-soak from the cylinders/heads
(very hot and not airflow). If the pants get hot enough it becomes very
hard to start the engine until they cool down.
Sometime during the build of 73's SDP added insulation to the intake pants
which reduced sensitivity to vapor lock.
Yup, I had this problem on my 73' 712 which did not have the insulation, I
experience VL a few times. SAV has a kit which I installed and since then it's
been dramatically better. VL is also worse at altitude, hot, and if your
running winter blend.
So check your intake, if insulted your probably OK.
