THE PORTAL HUB - Pinzgauers, Haflingers, Volvo 303s and more!

Seems I have 2 cylinders with 0 compression, and 2 with about 50 pounds. My local mechanic (mine is the only PINZ in town) wants to do a top end job, with jugs. Estimate is around $3k.

So, are there any rebuilt engines out there, and what kind of money to put the PINZ back on the road?

Should I let him rebuild, or buy a rebuilt? That is the question?

And if I buy, from whom???

SAV has a top end kit for around $1650 last time I looked, I highly recomend this set-up as it includes cylinders
