Taillight lense "flipping"

Hello

Cutting the reflectors is just what I wanted to avoid. The reflectors are held in place by two brad/rivets. If these brass pieces can be removed such that the reflectors can be flipped inside the lense, no cutting would be required. The difficulty, then, becomes finding new brad/rivets to re-attach the reflector to the lense, in its new position. Does anyone know where to get these pieces and how to properly secure them?

O.K. then, try this:
Just replace the whole orange/red lens cover with a solid red one? No reason to try to salvage those tiny internal rivets or cut anything! Your brakes and blinkers will both be red, but that's fine... and legal.

I actually had good luck with carefully prying open the rivets, flipping the lens over, and re-using the rivets. It gave me the amber running lights and turn signals everything else is red.
