Why are locker lights not on a switched circut?

So all of the indicators stay on after you turn the key off. It has always been like this and I am pretty sure it was wired like this from the factory.
Anyone know why? Better yet can I just move it to a switched circut?

That sounds weird. I believe mine is wired such that the locker lights are ignition switched. The lights go out with the ignition key on the one in the shop. Suggest you check the sdp-pinzgauer sight for the wiring diagram. I sure do miss Juergen on this board.

Breaker number 12 goes live with the key.
The lockers and the turn signal feed is powered out of it when the key is turned to run (on)
At least that's what I always seem to see every time I strain my neck under that dashboard.

Tim, did you ever replace the #12 breaker after the leg shorted off? I know you moved the circuit, thats when the locker lights stayed live

Lol, Right again Jim! You got a memory like a ummm errrr GOAT!
I replaced that breaker but don't think I switched that lead back over to number 12. Darn it off to find that wire now. I know it is in there somewhere.......................................................
