I want to change the door panels in the cab and replace with new ones. the obstical that I have it the door release lever handles. How do you get them off? These have to be removed so I can get the backing cups off too. Anyone find out how they are attached? Glued, screwed or just plan stuck on?
thanks

They are sort of a press-fit. I use a open end wrench that just slips over the arm behind the knob and tap it with a hammer and it usually slips right off, have fun,Mark

Scoot.
There's a crimped sleeve which grips the handle onto the lever shank.
By tapping it off "gently" you will either remove the knob sans sleeve leaving it on the handle or have the knob & sleeve in your hand.
For knob refitment place the sleeve inside the knob and tap it into place, --- again "gently".

Thanks guys, I will try the gentle aproach first. I did not want to muscle it off unless I had to.
