I liked the painted emblems on the front so much that I made a set for the rear. If anyone is interested I can tell you how my son-in-law put the "wheel cover" or "hubcap" on.

He welded a nut to the circular steel plate, then welded a slotted bracket to the triangular bracket that holds the spare wheel. I painted the emblems and the circular plate and used a threaded rod secured with nuts to the slotted bracket to attach the circular plate. I just spun it on tight and eyeballed the locations for the emblems, took it off again and drilled holes to bolt them on.

Hi,
Sweeeet. I'm more interested to know:
1)Where you got the emblems to make the cover ("hubcap")
2) If you can't tell me that, how much you'd charge to make one for me...

Nice work.

SAV has the emblems. They are not very expensive but they come OD. I hand painted them and those on the front of my 712M.
