Evan, I've never been married. wonder why?
But , you need to lookat marriage as buying a new car.... you think you found one for life, and later you find one newer and prettier, so you cast aside the old one, and then find yourself making payments on it long after it gone.
That should make me more popular with my friends' wives than I already am.

Yes you can, but be forewarned, the best you can hope for is some one else to "take over payments". .... but remember you'll be paying for each of those extended warranties for the first 18 years also.
Budget Rent a Car is sounding better all the time.
