Parking brake - Check the lever on top of the rear cone (just before the trailer hitch and between the cone and the underside of the body), there is a small switch that turns on the light when the lever is pulled slightly. Check to see that the parking brake cable allows the lever to return all the way to the stop, then see how much movement it takes to turn on the light. I recently had to adjust mine for the same reason, it was blinking, and my light was so faded that I thought I was low on oil (since oil pressure light is right next to it). My switch was a little on the corroded sideWhat does this light mean?
It used to flash occasionally - and I assumed it meant it thought the clutch was slipping - now its on a lot.but with a brush, some WD-40, and a little TLC it now takes about a 1/4" of movement before the light comes on.
