Clutch Fluid

Post by Scooter »

I was looking at the brake fluid level, it was OK. but I saw that the clutch fluid was low. Reading the manual, it says to use brake fluid for the clutch. Is this correct? or is there an update to what should be used?

Regular brake fluid DOT3. Look for your leak, check weep hole on bottom of bell housing after sitting. If it is wet you will need to pull the slave cyl to verify(it will be wet). A leaking slave can cause starter failure if left unrepaired
