THE PORTAL HUB - Pinzgauers, Haflingers, Volvo 303s and more!

I have been wanting a Pinz since I saw one 5 years ago. Been playing with Jeeps for years and even built up a pretty nice Rubicon. Still I've been wanting something "different". I figured if 4x4 is fun, well heck 6x6 has to be better!

Well, I'm flying out on Feb 8th to pick up my first Pinz, a 1975 712M. Gonna drive her home 1000 miles from Sioux Falls, SD to Jackson, WY! Can't wait!

Read every post on here and have learned alot already. Hope to learn more and have alot of fun along the way!

Well welcome to the Pinz world! Have a great drive and without any problems. Take the digital camera and get lots of photos for the memories.
I drove my Pinz 1100 miles from AZ. back to WA. in Sept.
The only failure was my speedometer went bonkers just out of Wells NV. Gears in the display burned out.
Other than that met lots of friendly, curious people and how many times can you explain Steyr-Daimler-Puch, Pinzgauer via Switzerland?
