Window track

Well, it's spring and time to do some Pinz maintanance. I want to remove my door tops, take out the windows and paint them. The window track material is pretty nasty looking and leaks water into the truck every time it rains. Is there a source to find the track? I looked into McMaster Carr, but had no luck. Any suggestions out there?

Why would you want to paint your windows?

Well, the windows are fine. But the door tops could use a little work

Mine are shot too and I want to do this project when it gets warmer. Looked everywhere for a substitute that is cheaper (SAV is like $24 a meter and takes like 3 meters per door!!)
I found various manufactureres of rubber flocked window channel, but none that had the right dimensions.
If necesssary I'll just buy a meter or 2 and do the bottom tracks. That might be enough to keep the rain out at least.

There's a company called restorationspecialties.com. They might have the window channel you are looking for. There's an online catalog and a number to call.
