Whilst doing my regular "troll" around the net for new info etc on Pinzgauers, I came acoss this French site (?):
http://www.quadlib.com/transfennec/assistance.php
The Pinny has an external - "on the move" CTIS system fitted!
(Click on the pic for a larger image)

Some of the forestry - logging trucks here have them fitted, but this is the first Pinny I've seen with such a setup!

Hi Perter,

I believe that we have seen a tyre inflation system very similar to the one you posted on these very pages. Unfortunately I think that all that information was lost when this site crashed. It may still be possible to find it in some hidden cash some were perhaps. :(

I LOVE the idea of CTIS on the move. I have my truck plumbed for doing it stationary, one hookup at each wheel and set the regulator and let her go. Your pic has me googling rotary air valves like mad. Perhaps not so practical among the rocks and bramble, but for the desert clean-up adventures i frequent it would be pretty cool.

It looks very similar to a outboard mounted system for motorhomes, I remember a few years back when I was selling the big coaches one of the publications had an advertiser selling a very nice looking outboard CTIS all in stainless, the valve from the rim went to a center mounted swivel and from there it went out the center to a stainless braided hose up to the wheel well, and had a digital control for the dash, never saw one in person but the reviews were pretty good.

Found a link for a retailer, they are in the UK, but some of the gallery pics look to bi in the USA too....

Thanks for posting the link mate, but that supplier is down under in VICTORIA, that's in Australia if you didn't know. I know some Americans cannot tell the difference between our accents but down there they have dingos, in the UK we have lingos.

That's Peter's part of the world! Still I like the truck pics. The Aussies run the biggest trucks in the world, look at the road trains if you don't believe me. Bloody marvelous!

They still allow triple trailers here in Wyoming. I hate those things. I would never want to com head to head with one of those road trains!

If the inflation system could be on the inboard side it would be perfect, outboard wouldn't last long in AZ!
