What's the first thing they saw?

I was given an interesting DVD the other night at a Land Rover Club meeting.
A member came up and gave me a DVD copy of of old documentary film he had come across, of a trip a Professor did into Central Australia back in the early 1960's.
He was searching for a group of aborigines who had never had any contact with the white man.....anyway he found them.
....and what was the first vehicle the tribe saw .... a HAFLINGER
The Professor was in the lead driving it, with two International 4X4 trucks following!
