THE PORTAL HUB - Pinzgauers, Haflingers, Volvo 303s and more!

Drove up to Yellowstone for the day yesterday.

Truck ran great, got about 15 MPG up and down those hills. From just the people I saw taking pics, my truck will be in dozens of folks' vacation albums.

Did about 415 miles total.

Did manage to see 1 black bear, a wolf, elk, buffalo, pronghorn, coyote, mule deer.

Not a bad way to spend the day.

Go ahead, rub it in! Quit teasing us and post some pics!

Better yet, go up to that parking lot where Ansel shot the Tetons/Snake River and get a shot of the Pinz with the Tetons in the background. (I know, ya gotta jump over the stone wall and walk about 50' north to find Ansel's tripod holes, but it would be a good pic even from the parking lot.)

Hope to get up there again one day with my 712.
