Has anyone heard how Loyal Parsons and family are doing ? I see on the news they are shuttling people into Silverado canyon for brief periods to get necessities and check for damage.
Hope all is well for all evacuees, by me they are letting people return to Crestline and some surrounding communities :)

Jim, when you guys find out who has all been all affected, let the rest of use know. You Micheal or Scott need to set up a pay pal account so the rest of use can help out. Alot of use live in areas where there are no other pinzgauer owners we have relide on you guys for help I for one would like to give back.

You all will be relieved to know that I got the Pinz out of Silverado today (I know I am).

Anyway, today started off great with a shuttle taking resident into Silverado, Modjeksa, Trabuco... and then basically the "fit hit the shan" around 1pm.

I am a member of our local Canyon Watch, and as such I've been helping out with radio communications and trying to keep everyone sane. At about 1pm, we got the call that the fire had breached the ridge to the canyon, and they were expecting flaming homes within the hour.

Miraculously, the firefighters stopped the advance of the fire and no structures were lost. I've been interfacing with the liaison officer(s) at the incident command center today, and I can tell you that these firefighters are giving everything they've got, and then double that.

Jim, I hope your place is safe & sound. After seeing the devastation around here, I can't even imagine what your area must look like. As I write this, I know my place is okay. That could change within hours depending on the winds, but I have a lot of trust in these firefighters right now.

Probably more than you guys really wanted to know, but I just started typing and couldn't stop. My family, dogs, and a few possessions are all a-okay right now to answer your first post Jim.

Glad to hear everyones ok. The area around my house was mainly hit with high wind damage , hundreds of trees down everywhere and shingles litter the streets. The closest fire was 1/2 mile down wind and the cops shot and killed someone in the foothills less than a mile away behind the college, reportedly preventing another arson fire.
My sympathies go out to Mike's buisness partner Jim who lost his home in Ramona.
So far I haven't seen any losses on the Mog list 8)
Good luck to all and hope to see you on the trails soon.

I'm sorry to hear about Mike's partner loosing his house. I am however glad your home escaped the fires. I didn't know Mike's partner's name is Jim and I thought from Mike's one post that the Jim he was talking about was you.

If the cops shot somebody who was sick enough to try to start another fire, too bad in my book. Had it coming for trying to birng misery to people.

Glad you are okay.

Thanks Andy

I’m not usually very active on the lists. (I Prefer to Lurk) But I have been lurking for a long time. Some of you have met me before, talked to me on the phone or via email under various names. I have posted under other names over the years.

I hope the rest of our friends have faired better than I.

So to all who don't know, allow me introduce myself
I'm Jim Tucker, fellow Enthusiast currently mogless pinzless as almost all resources have be given to the business. I am the better half of Ramona Motors.
Once again thank you all for your support.

Well Mr Jim Tucker, it is nice to meet you, it is just too bad it has to be online under the current circumstances out there. I do hope the government(s) come through for you all and that you all get back on your financial feet as soon as possible.

Don't be such a stranger on the forum. Best of luck to you in the coming weeks.
