Deleting Threads

As a recommendation for self moderation. If someone posts a thread that has "gone" places they wish it hadn't. I would ask the original poster to go back and edit out all info in that first post and replace it with " Delete thread, please delete all posts".
Once all the other posters voluntarily delete all their post, the first poster can delete his post, and thusly sending the thread into Never-Never Land.

I would also ask anyone that has a classified ad to do the same, once your item is sold. Even though they fall off at the bottom of the page anyway, they somehow have a way to bump back up.... sort of like a bad bratwurst.

Posts must be deleted from the bottom up, in order, for this to work

In the upper right hand corner of a poster's post will be boxes for 'quote', ' edit' and if the last post of the thread, a 'X' box.
Obiviously, no one can edit some one else's post or delete, so there is 'quote' box available to all. ' edit' is in all of a poster's messages, and the 'X' (delete) is only if the poster's the last post in a thread.

Deleting "sold" classified ads ( or editing it to "sold"), keeps it from repeatedly being bumped to the top for an old outdated ad that won't fall of the page.....
