converter heads up

Post by mjnims »

I recently purchased an Opek converter from a guy on Ebay. The reviews I could find on google suggested they were decent units. The seller cybersales4all has them in several different models. This is another option for those looking for a converter in their trucks. If anyone has had good or bad experience with the Opek line it would be good to hear from them.

Mike,

Hpw did your converter work out? I'm considering one from the same source.

The converters are in and working perfectly. The units does not run hot. I thought they might being in that price range. I have not checked the actual output but they are running my radios, gps and cell chargers with no issues. I put one in each of my trucks as the Samlex unit gave out in my 712 and the 710 never had a converter in it.
Hopefully they will give me a few years of trouble free operation expecially at that price.
