Is there any after market window channel that doesn't cost an arm and a leg? I have some rust starting on the frames and need to fix them this summer. Figure I'ld replace all the window channel while I'm at it.

Todd,
I found some at this place www.restorationspecialties.com that looked like it would work (page 16 bottom right) but the cost was close to SAV. I still haven't replaced it but need to.

Paul is right, part Y583, which is stainless. I'm sure they have weatherstripping for the doors, too. Send a piece in and they will match it up for you.

I may try to save a few $ and just replace the bottom strips. That seems to be were all the water is pooling and splashing all over when I close the door.

I got the locking rails from SAV that have a drain at the bottom and replaced the older stock ones. They are much more costly now than when I got them, but they seem to work to keep the water out of the inside.
In retrospect, I think they could be made from the old ones if one has a bit of fabrication skills.
It does rain often here and the price was worth it to me at the time.
