We are doing a trip to Kofa (King of Arizona Mine National Wildlife refuge). This is on the Arizona side of the AZ/CA border on the east side of I-95 between I-10 and I-8.
To get to campsite be on I-95, look for mile marker 92, there is a road going east into the park, go east into the park x (7?) miles, large house sized boulder on south side marks camping spot. Will update this forum and SWPA's forum with better directions when I get them.
We understand that trails more challenging are actually out of the park. Jim S will be helping us find some. Travis F. has said he might be able to help also.
Mike D. from San Diego will be meeting us Friday afternoon at 3ish.
Jim S. from Yuma will be meeting us in his 710K.
Steve D. from Phoenix will get there Friday afternoon at 3ish.
Mike N. from Phoenix also. Several maybes also at this point.
