A question for the Texans on the Forum

I was recently reminded that there was a guy/shop in Victoria who is supposed to be a knowledgeable and reputable and a great source for Pinzgauer service matters.

The shop is called Fritz's. I spoke with them this morning to try and learn more about why a shop in Victoria, Texas would have this big Pinzgauer service reputation. It turns out one of the owners is from Germany, has worked on them (and other "old" cars) for many years. Apparently there are more Pinzgauers floating around South Texas than I expected. The fellow I spoke with told me that the King Ranch has 4 or 5 of them!

If any of y'all have any further details on this shop and any experiences with them, please pass them along so that we'll all know aboutthis new potential resource.

Thanks!

I did a Yahoo check on Victoria and that's what came up. There's at least one good comment on them. I hope someone here is familiar with their work.

I bought my pinz from Texas Pinzgauer out of San Antonio, they have a web sight. I think they use this guy to check out the Pinz that they sell he goes thru them before they sell them. I also think they use him for some custom work they do for some of their customers. If you want to contact them use the 827 number that is Rue he is a good guy and tries to be very helpful.

I've only gone to the shop in Victoria for minor work so I don't know How they do on the major jobs but they seemed knowledgeable about the trucks and certainly had a few in the parking lot.

That would be Victoria TEXAS USA. I think they do all sorts of custom work but I have not used them. I think they are in the middle of a couple of huge jobs but I don't know the details.

I'm not even going to suggest that Peter was KIDDING. He probably knows of a good, discrete place in Melbourne that does Pinz work.

Maybe someone could call???????
