How do I do it without opening up the whole album for the entire world? I use photobucket. Do I have to do the Youtube thing? The video thing takes forever to transfer from the camera/disc to start with.
Thanks,
Andy

Andy
The youtube thing is pretty fast once the vid has been downloaded to the computer from the camera.

Well I'm about ready to pitch a fit and say the heck with it. I've got the videos in the computer, they play, and I can find them. I've signed up for YouTube, but when I try to upload it looks like everything is working, but I never get the message that the stupid thing is done. I've tried two so far and the thing just sort of stops.
Any suggestions?

I'm no expert on the subject Andy, but Youtube seems to be fairly fussy about the type of video it accepts. If it doen't like the supplied format it just seems to go away and sulk rather than tell you!
I've just posted a video which I originally made in mpeg2 format, but I had to convert it to avi to get Youtube to accept it.
It's a fairly painless process (the conversion) even thought I haven't yet found a free version.... I used a "trial" version that puts a small watermark on the final result, but it's better than nothing.
The conversion program I used is called AVS video convertor and is available here:

Are the video files huge? I think there is a size limit, if you exceed that it does not notify you. Sometimes it takes a bit for very large vids but a beer or two later all is good. Still quicker than uploading to photobucket.

Peter and Mike, it was me I guess. I have little patience when I want something done. I got two loaded into the Big Bend thread. Thanks to both of you.
Mike, yeah, there is a limit of 10 minutes neither of these is anywhere near that.
