i'm wondering if anyone has a good idea re replacing the turn signal lever assy (the whole thing) with someting mo betta (the screws in mine are all head-stripped). i'm also trying to find a new assy of the same. i thought someone said there was a cross ref part, like vw. can't find it, tho.

i notice these m4 screws have head diameters of 5.5 mm - smaller than anything at mcmaster-carr.

On one truck i used a phillips head screw with the same thread pitch and ground down the head. 8)

mark - yeah, i just left the mcmaster page. i decided to order some 316 stainless socket hd screws and grind them down. and now getting back here and reading your idea i realize there IS such a thing as telepathy.
