Has anyone out there ever come across one or (much more likely) had one made?

I use an inexpensive silver reflective tarp with bunge cords from Walmart; works great and only takes minutes to put on.

I've got plenty of of those blue tarps with the eyelets. I'm just curious about a real car cover that would be a relatively easy on and easy off item for regular use.

For the 710, a cover for a Chevy astro van will work, for the 712 Iv'e heard a Ford Excursion cover may work

A minivan cover fits ok...

I bought a cheap one off of Ebay and it lasted for a couple of years or so.

You mean a Chevy Astro van cover? The dimensions do seem similar. I'll check around on eBay.

Jim is right, the Astro van cover does work. Not perfect, but certainly close enough! Pep Boys sells a cheap version, $30-$40 or so. I have one that has been on the 710 once, been in the storage bag ever since. I'm able to keep mine under roof, so a cover isn't needed. Make an offer.

Too late! I've "shopped victoriously" oneBay and found an Astro cover for like $40 so we'll see how that works out.
Maybe you should list yours as a Pinzgauer car cover on eBay and unload it there?!?!

Hi,
Sorry I didn't check the forum during the weekend.
I had a cover made-to-order by Covercraft for the Pinz' 710M (I guess it would fit a 710K as well). I ordered through
www.carcoverworld.com, and chose their "Noah" fabric.
The fit of the cover over the truck is good (you have to fold the mirrors as they missed the need for mirror pockets...). The cover goes down to the level of the hubs, so there is a bit of slack between the front and rear wheels.
The quality looks good so far. It is a bit pricey, but a much better alternative than leaving my Pinz outside unprotected (the other option was to jack up the whole house to accomodate the Pinz in the existing garage or to build a new one...).

Answer: Chevy Astro Van
Question: What car cover fits a 710 Pinzgauer?
The cover I found on eBay (for like $40) has worked out perfectly. If you ned a cover for your 710, I'd recommend looking for one for a Chevy Astro van as it's nearly a perfect fit.
You 712 owners are on your own!
