... well picked up my first Pinz yesterday (1981 712, with rapier rear doors).

Drove the few hundred miles home without any probs, other than the tilt leaking and a bit of a spell of petrol. Boy does a 6x6 Pinz in military green get some attention on the UK motorways!!!

Seems very straight, pulls well right through to 100kph+ and looks to be a good intro to 6x6 ownership! Just got to get it tested locally (its an import) and then it'll be time to see what it'll do offroad!

They get lots of attention here too!

You can do some things to lessen the petrol smell, but it will never go away completely, unless you do the FI upgrade of course.
