4500 RPM Module

I'm in the middle of re-storing/re-building a '75 710M that had most of the electrical system ripped out by the previous owner. One of the many expensive items he discarded was the 4500rpm module. Since I'll be installing a VDO tach which I've had good luck with in the past, I'm not sure I really want/need the 4500 mod. I've been learning lots from the schematic and my test meter but am still very circuit-challenged. So my question is this - can I simply omit the 4500 module or do I have to jump some of the wires going to it? Or do I have to install one?

Any and all advice appreciated. Thanks.

You will need to jump the center 2 terminals to get power to the coil.
Use 2 spade terminals and a 3" piece of wire and you are done 8)

So I'll just be connecting the black/white wire to the black wire. Easy enough!

Thanks Jim. :)
