Can any of you 6x6 owners tell me if it is normal to have one rear axle offset from the other? Mid axle lines up with the front, the rear one is set over appx 1.5" Kinda looks like the springs are angled in relation to the frame....

Hello

I can't speak to the width issue, but make sure they turn at the same rate or you will have big problems.

The centre pivot between the rear axles moves freely laterally up to a point to facilitate ease of turn in for corners. It comes back into alignment on the strait.

Anthony, thanks for the response. You are right as the other day when I pulled it out ,it was straight. I think the issue was I backed into the shop turning very sharp. Can't wait to get back to this project!

I think the feature is to facilitate a sharper turn in by reducing the resistance to of primary turn in and it also allow the wheels to conform to deep ruts when negotiating a corner.
